President's Special Project 2006-2008
The GFWC-NC President's Special Project for 2006-2008 is the Blue Ridge Parkway, specifically the Blue Ridge Parkway Foundation's "Parks as Classrooms" project. The Blue Ridge Parkway is the most visited national park in the country.

Women's History and Resource Center (WHRC)
The Women's History and Resource Center (WHRC) was founded by the GFWC in 1984, under the administration of Juanita Bryant. It was begun as the result of a perceived need for a archives and library that would document the historical social contributions of women volunteers.
