Enhancing the Lives of Others Through Volunteer Service

See What We Do

Welcome to the General Federation of Women’s Clubs in North Carolina

The General Federation of Women’s Clubs of North Carolina (GFWC-NC) is united in its dedication to volunteer community
service. We are diverse in age, interests and experiences, and are united by a desire to create positive change in our communities.
Together, we transform lives every day.

Established in 1890, GFWC and its over 60,000 members represent more than 20 countries. GFWC offers members a network of women with similar interests and concerns, fellowship, and lasting friendships. Members and clubs maintain their identity and focus while benefitting from strength that comes from being a part of the international service organization whose motto is “Unity in Diversity”.
